Proficient in curating change culture and service transformation, Abby is an experienced NHS operations lead dedicated to advocating for patients.
A committed volunteer with United Patients Alliance for over 5 years, she represents UPA as chair of the management committee and outreach lead, safeguarding the patient voice by engaging, educating, and empowering patients and supporters.
Transferring her expertise and experiences, Abby is also patient access lead for Drug Science’s Project Twenty21, providing treatment to 20,000 patients in a national medical cannabis pilot.
Under the care of a plethora of specialist for EDS and the long list of associated symptoms, Abby knows all too well what it means to be a patient. She has been a long term consumer of medical cannabis to combat chronic pain and fatigue, and to avoid the side effects of opioid pharmaceuticals.
